4071 Scotty "Through-the-Pump" Foam Eductor/Mixer The 4071 Foam Eductor/Mixer is a very simple unit used to educt foam concentrate into hose lines. It is mounted between the discharge and suction side of a pump (see diagram below). For use on portable forestry pumps or fitted permanently to skid units, the 4071 is a simple and effective way for fire fighters to add a foam capability to their equipment. The unit is adjustable, permitting foam percentages of 0.1 to 1.25% to be educted at flow rates of 15gpm to 150gpm. A 4071 includes the eductor, pressure hose and pick-up hose. A 4071KIT includes the eductor, pressure hose, pick-up hose and two connecting aluminum tees: a 1-½” and a 2”.
