Foam Proportioners

Foam proportioners are simple devices used in rural fire fighting operatiions to induct foam into a pumps water supply. Normally referred to as "round the pump proportioners", water flow is diverted from the delivery manifold into a small venturi device which "sucks" foam from the foam supply and then back into the pump suction inlet. Proportioners are suitable for A and B class foams.
