GKW Evacuation Sheet

Simple and light: the GKW Evacuation Sheet can be used to safely transport an immobilised person lying down directly from the hospital bed. Only one rescuer is required to evacuate quickly and safely. The robust sheet material allows the person to be pulled across almost any floor surfaces without excessive strength. Stairs are not an obstacle either.
The evacuation sheet is positioned permanently under the mattress and is fixed using loops. The normal bed covers can be put over the mattress.
Ready for immediate use: Two textile wings provided with Velcro are integrated in the sides. In the event of a rescue, the wings are simply pulled out of the side pockets under the mattress.
Fixing and transporting: The wings are placed over the patient and tightened using the Velcro. The mattress creates a U-shape, which increases stability considerably. The mattress can then be pulled to safety using the red straps.
